The open index of paid APIs for agentic commerce - 2,235 independent sellers on Base alone besides this host, with what they charge and what they have actually settled.
Describe the job, not the tool name - FIND searches every tool and shows live results. Resolving is free (GET /api/find), you only pay to execute. This is the neutral x402 index: every seller, not just ours.
Agent402 runs this index and sells 500+ tools, metered models and reports on the same rails. Our own canary and volume runs are excluded from these figures; the ranked rows measure other sellers on chain and never include the host. Settlements are counted from the sales ledger, which starts 2026-07-03; earlier calls were served and settled but are not itemised in it, so these are not lifetime totals.
healthy = the last crawl of the origin succeeded, nothing more. dispatch = this host's router will buy from this seller right now; a seller can be listed, healthy and still not dispatch-eligible (no known payment network, or no settlement history on Base yet). The reason is on each row and on /api/index as routerDispatchReason.
THIS HOST = run by agent402 · every other seller is independent, found by the open crawl · Chain shows the networks each seller's 402 advertises · tx = settled calls on Base, last 7d, from the seller leaderboard
every rail has its own market page - a seller appears under every chain it accepts, so these do not sum to a distinct total
Buying from a seller on another rail? The Smart Order Router settles with them on their chain and relays the result.
every gasless EIP-3009 USDC settlement on Base - the primitive x402 uses - counted chain-wide across every seller, not just this host · machine-readable at /api/x402-economy
Describe the task and the Smart Order Router resolves it to a tool - from this index, ours or anyone else's - then runs it. Candidates are shortlisted by how well they match the task, then ordered by crawl health, by distinct payers over the last 30 days, by price, by a discovery listing's curated flag and by slug length, shorter first; a judgment model can then pick the one that does the job from that shortlist, or decline them all, and when it is not consulted the shortlist order stands. It buys from external sellers and resells the result to you.

No editorial gate and no pay-for-placement. A row can be corrected or withdrawn on request (see below), and a seller that stops answering is marked unreachable.
Free, no signup, nothing deducted. Serve a 402 and register the origin: the crawler reads it at once and re-probes it every 30 minutes.
A directory of services that accept x402 payments, so an AI agent can find something to buy and pay for it in one round trip without an account. This index lists every seller it can crawl, not only our own tools, and publishes the tool counts, settlement chains and crawl health it observes.
By serving x402 challenges and registering its origin with POST /api/index/register, which crawls it at once, or by appearing in the Coinbase CDP Bazaar, which the crawler re-reads every hour. Listing is free, there is no review queue, and there is no pay-for-placement.
A rolling success rate across recent crawls of a seller's manifest and 402 challenge. One bad hour does not delist anyone, and a new seller is not penalised for having no history. The Smart Order Router uses it to break ties and to route around sellers that are down.
Write to mike@agent402.tools. Every figure here is a reading of public data - the seller's own manifest and 402 challenges, plus on-chain settlements - taken at the scan time shown, so it can go stale or fold to the wrong operator. We re-scan and correct or withdraw a row on request.
Tool counts are what a seller advertises; settled volume is what buyers actually paid for. A large catalog with no settlements has not found buyers yet, and a small catalog with heavy volume has found exactly the right one. Both numbers are shown so you can see the difference.
